Management

With governments and companies worldwide pledging to achieve net-zero emissions and build a sustainable future around the decarbonisation of the global economy, there is a huge task ahead. Strong management will be essential, especially as we are seeing companies cross over from compliance to measuring positive impact. There have been an array of new job titles and roles created and we expect many more to appear as the market continues to evolve.

Additionally, the changes will increasingly demand a wider array of skills as sustainability becomes more entwined with other departments like marketing (brand proposition), communications, human resources, supply chain and a myriad of other potential areas dependent on the industry sector. The result is that future leaders will require more than just the functional attributes you might have seen on previous job descriptions, with change and transformation management expected to be increasingly important.

We include Lead and Specialist roles within the management specialism, though the terms can have a broad use and even though you may not always be managing staff, you are often key in the management of the organisations delivery.

We hire at all levels within the ESG, Sustainability and CSR the space, covering both permanent and contract recruitment, some example roles include:

ESG Manager / Global Sustainability Manager/ ESG Director / ESG & DI Manager / Practice Lead / Head of Sustainability / Head of ESG & Sustainability Practice / European Sustainability Lead / Managing Consultant / Head of ESG / Sustainability Communications Manager / ESG Specialist / Head of Policy / ESG Transformation Manager / PR Manager
