A leading, commercial property business is seeking a Compliance Manager to be based in their Central London office.

Reporting into the Senior Leadership and managing two compliance staff, you will be focused on delivering their compliance strategy, ensuring the company delivers effective practices and policies that comply with legislative and regulatory requirements. You will work with all departments and levels of staff to provide integrated legal, risk and regulatory advice and support.

Key duties will include:
- Lead the compliance team, ensuring they continue to support and enhance a culture, across the business, based on ethics and integrity.
- Maintain the company’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable ISO standards and that changes are communicated throughout the business.
- Advise the Management Board on compliance matters and support training on essential topics such as GDPR and Fraud.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance and Health & Safety as well as regulatory bodies such as the FCA, ICO, RICS and Licensing Authorities.
- Identify potential compliance risks and create corrective actions plans.
- Keep abreast of new legislation and amendments.
- Conduct periodic internal and external audits.
- Support the assessment of new contracts to ensure terms are compliant.

Candidate MUST have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial industry.
- Experience of leading or managing a team.
- Good stakeholder management skills, able to deliver complex information in a professional manner.
- Good knowledge of relevant compliance legislation and requirements.

Desirable are:
- Experience within the real estate / property / built environment / facilities management sector.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- People management experience, developing and motivating staff.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £65,000 - £80,000 based on your skills, plus a bonus, pension and good benefits.
