A Global Management Consultancy focused on Sustainability and ESG is seeking a Principal Consultant to join their expanding team based in central London.

 

The role offers hybrid working, reporting into the Regional Director you will be accountable of delivering client projects, covering all aspects such as pricing, mapping, research, data analysis, strategy development, problem solving, reporting and project success. Example projects include sustainability strategy development, creation of corporate sustainability reports, ESG and sustainability integration planning, their clients come from all sectors and include many global brands.

 

Duties include:

  • Delivery of projects to a high standard on time and in budget.

  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Supporting business development through networking, tender / proposal delivery and nurturing relationships.

  • Strategic input to aid the consultancy’s growth, development of new ideas, products and services.

  • Personal maintenance of sector knowledge, keeping informed of latest trends and developments and the creation of content.

  • Responsible for managing and mentorship of Senior Consultants.

  • Generating Thought Leadership.

  • Accountable for the accuracy of all information provided to clients.

 

Candidates MUST have:

  • Strong track record in a consultancy role, successfully delivering ESG or Sustainability projects.

  • Strong client facing skills, able to build relationships with stakeholders and influence decisions.

  • Demonstrable project management and people management skills.

  • Experience delivering a range of projects such as sustainability strategy development, stakeholder engagement and analysis, materiality assessment, measurement and target-setting, sustainability reporting (GRI and/or similar), carbon strategy and TCFD.

 

Desirable are:

  • ESG Experience

  • ICRS or IEMA membership, ideally an IEMA Fellow

  • MSc or Degree in a relevant field

 

You will be a key member of the Senior Team, expected to contribute to the strategy as the grow nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of up to £90,000 plus good benefits.
